Day 1: Fly direct to Washington DC from London Heathrow with United Airlines, on arrival, transfer independently to your chosen hotel. 

Day 2: Explore the nation's capital, a host of museums and great national monuments are yours to discover. 

Day 3: Don?t miss an outing to the popular Union Station Mall with over 130 shops and restaurants. 

Day 4: Return to the airport for your direct flight from Washington to San Diego. On arrival in California, collect your rental car and drive to your hotel. 

Day 5: The city is yours to explore, why not head for San Diego's celebrated zoo or to the magic that Seaworld has to offer? 

Day 6: Why not stroll across the Mexican border into the town of Tijuana, with lots of souvenirs to buy it is a great opportunity to notch up another country visited. 

Day 7: Head north of San Diego and you will find miles of uncrowded, pristine beaches, visit Legoland, or play golf on one of the county's 92 courses. 

Day 8: Return your hire car back to the airport before flying back to London via one of United Airlines hubs.
