Our award-winning 35 metre expedition style cruise ships, Coral Princess and Coral Princess II, are large enough to provide all the comforts and facilities you would expect from larger cruise ships, yet small enough to enable us to access reef and island sites inaccessible to other vessels. With our open bridge policy and a maximum of just 54 passengers, your environmental experience will be both personal and memorable.

And there is as much to as you want, or as little to do as you like - snorkelling, guided coral viewing excursions in our glass bottom boats, scuba diving, guided rainforest walks and presentations by our Marine Biologists - or simply take the time to relax on the sundeck or in the spa. Coral Princess Great Barrier Reef & Islands Cruise 4 Days/3 Nights
Northbound Voyage from Townsville to Cairns & Southbound Voyage from Cairns to  Townsville

Itinerary: 

From Townsville to  Cairns (TC3) - Tuesdays

Day 1: Board your Coral Princess vessel at 12:30 at Breakwater Terminal for a 1:00pm departure. Cruise the Palm Group of Islands.

Day 2: Be our guest on our exclusive Pelorus Island with its magnificent fringing reef, beach and rainforest. Enjoy a beach BBQ ashore. Cruise the spectacular Hinchinbrook Channel and the Family Group of Islands. Visit Dunk Island resort and enjoy a guided rainforest walk. 

Day 3: A full day is spent cruising the outer Great Barrier Reef. Experience excellent snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving at Nathan or Coates Reef. Overnight anchorage at Sudbury Reef lagoon. 

Day 4: Visit Thetford Reef for fish feeding and further time to enjoy snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Arrive into Cairns at 1:30pm. 

From Cairns to Townsville (CT3) - Saturdays 

Day 1: Board your Coral Princess vessel at 10:30am at Cairns Trinity Wharf for an 11.00am departure. Cruise the outer Greater Barrier Reef visiting Thetford Reef and Sudbury Cay for fish feeding, snorkelling, coral viewing and scuba diving.

Day 2: Visit Coates or Nathan Reefs to further enjoy the Great Barrier Reef. Visit Dunk Island resort and enjoy a guided rainforest walk. 

Day 3: Cruise the Family Group of Islands, (the only tropical rainforest island on the Australian coast) Hinchinbrook Channel and be our guest at exclusive Pelorus Island with its magnificent fringing reef, beach and rainforest. Enjoy a Beach BBQ. Cruise the Palm Group of Islands. 

Day 4: Cruise Halifax Bay, passing Magnetic Island, arriving in Townsville at 10:00am. . 

Itinerary includes: 
*4 Days/3 Nights on Coral Princess or Coral Princess II. 
* All meals, including morning and afternoon teas. 
* Coral viewing, presentations and reef fishing. 
* Introductory scuba diving experience for first time divers.

From: £559 per person.	The Coral Princess and her sister ship, Coral Princess II, are 35 metre luxury catamarans designed for maximum stability and guest comfort. The ships are fully air conditioned with on-board accommodation for 354 guests in cabins, staterooms and deluxe staterooms. All accommodation are spacious, individually air-conditioned with private bathrooms and choice of full-sized single, or double beds.	Guest facilities include a large wide-view coral viewer, fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving equipment, two comfortable lounges, library with TV and video, a fully stocked bar and large sun deck with spa.  All meals are freshly prepared each day by fully qualified chefs and feature the finest seafood and tropical fruits North Queensland has to offer.
