In the suburb of Bloomington lies the Mall of America, the largest indoor shopping and entertainment centre in the USA. Among the 500 plus retailers are major department stores such as Macy's, Bloomingdales and Sears. There are over 50 places to eat, and attractions including a 4 screen multiplex cinema. The Mall is also home to Camp Snoopy, the largest indoor theme park in the USA, and a tribute to Charles M Shultz the creator of the Peanuts comic strip who lived in the twin cities.
